Privacy policy

Golf Concepts (“we”, “us”) operates golfconcepts.co.za. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we handle it, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

• Information you give us — your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and the contents of any message you send through the site, a booking request or an order.
• Technical information — standard server logs and, where analytics are enabled, anonymised usage data.

How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and confirm fitting bookings.
• To process, pack and deliver orders.
• To keep records required for tax and accounting purposes.

How your details reach us

Fitting bookings made in the online diary are stored in the Golf Concepts booking system, which runs on Cloudflare. Once booking messages are switched on, your confirmation and a reminder are emailed to you from danie@golfconcepts.co.za through Golf Concepts’ email host, xneelo. If you ask for WhatsApp messages as well, they are sent to your number through WhatsApp’s business service (Meta), via an approved WhatsApp partner. You can reply STOP on WhatsApp at any time and no further WhatsApp messages are sent.

Enquiries and orders sent from this site go to Golf Concepts via WhatsApp or email using your own device, so that message is handled by WhatsApp or your email provider under their own privacy terms.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with couriers and service providers where that is necessary to fulfil your order, and where the law requires it.

Your rights under POPIA

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its processing. Write to danie@golfconcepts.co.za.
