Do I need to book, or can I walk in?
The studio runs on bookings because Danie does every fitting personally. You are welcome to walk into the shop side, but message ahead if you want time on TrackMan — or take a slot yourself in the live diary on the booking page.
Do I have to buy clubs at the end of a fitting?
No. You pay for the session and the data is yours either way. We have sent plenty of golfers home with the clubs they arrived with — if they are already right, that is the honest answer.
Can I bring my own clubs?
Please do. Most fittings start with the set you currently play, because the first useful number is what your current equipment is doing.
Which brands can you fit me into?
Mizuno, Srixon, Cleveland, XXIO, Ping, GG Putters, TaylorMade, Cobra, Titleist and Callaway. We are not tied to any of them.
How long does a fitting take?
A ball fitting is about an hour; a club assessment and a distance analysis an hour and a half each; a club fitting session two hours. The VIP Fitting Experience is two two-hour sessions, and you pick both times when you book.
Who do I speak to about shoes or clothing?
Barend. He looks after the shoes and the clothing, so he is the one who knows what sizes are actually on the shelf — WhatsApp him on 083 937 4606 or email barend@s2zero.co.za. Danie is copied on every one of those enquiries.
How quickly will somebody come back to me?
Danie and Barend answer every message themselves, between fittings — you will normally hear back the same day, and by the end of the next working day at the latest. Messages sent over a weekend are answered on Monday.
Do you deliver, or do I collect?
We courier across South Africa, and you are welcome to collect from the store at 35 Linksfield Road, Dowerglen.
Do you do repairs as well as fittings?
Yes — the workshop handles regrips, re-shafting, new shafts, loft and lie bending, spine alignment and swing weighting.
